Following the sudden death of JP Wirz, owner and Managing Director of Wirz Travel, the company faced a challenging time. His loss leaves a huge gap - both personally and entrepreneurially.
After careful consideration, Annalise Wirz, JP's wife and a member of the company for almost three decades, and the team have decided to close the Wirz Travel Group Tours with Style® division at the end of 2025.
However, Wirz Travel will remain as a travel company - and in future will focus specifically on those business areas that have been successfully managed alongside group travel for many years: Business travel, incentive travel, group travel for companies and individual holidays.
Continuity with a new direction
"We wanted to create clarity - for our customers, our partners and our team. After intensive discussions, we decided to concentrate in future on those travel services that we have been offering with great success to companies and private customers for years. In this way, Wirz Travel will remain lively and future-oriented," explains Annalise Wirz.
In concrete terms, this means that Wirz Travel will remain open - with a clear focus on professionally organised business trips, individual group travel, incentive trips and tailor-made holidays from Switzerland.
